Betty Jo and I started attending Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Texas sometime in May 2007.  We have been members of Emmanuel Baptist Church since April 27, 2008.  We dearly love the pastor, Brother Kyle Smith.  His wife Angela is an extremely warm and very nice person.  They both love the Lord and that is a big reason we are now members at Emmanuel.  Their son, Thomas Smith and his wife Katie lead the youth ministry.  Brother Zach Tomlinson is the young adult minister and Brother James Jordan leads us in music.  Between Brother Kyle, Brother James, Brother Zach and Brother Thomas it is nothing but a wonderful time while at Emmanuel serving and Almighty God and loving Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior.  ALL FOR HIS GLORY!

We plan to be at Emmanuel for many years to come.  Pictures and other things will be coming later.  We would love to have you join us for The Emmanuel Connection Class (Sunday School) starting at 9:00 AM Sunday mornings, church service starts at 10:00 AM on Sunday mornings.  We also have church Sunday night starting at 6:00 PM and Wednesday evenings we have a wonderful meal at 5:30 PM and our worship service starts at 6:30 PM.  These are the standard activities and worship services each week but many more things are going on everyday of the week.  The Young At Heart group for us young at heart people have numerous activities going on all the time.

We will be having a ground breaking service March 27, 2011 for the start of the new EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH OF PITTSBURG, TEXAS.  It is simply amazing what God can do and He is always (as Brother Kyle says) showing up and showing off!!
